Scientists have already known that mental stress can cause heart attack, but until now, it was not known how it happens. Now, according to a new study, experts have also found out what is the relationship between mental stress and heart attack and how this process occurs.
In this study, heart patients who have suffered heart pain or heart attack due to mental stress were included.
Experts say that being under stress for a long period of time increases the blood pressure, which leads to the formation of clots in the blood that can clog the arteries.

This research from the University College of London tells us how dangerous stress can be for us.
The British Heart Foundation says we should all consider what causes us the most stress so we can think about ways to cope and manage it.
 Professor Andrew Steptoe, head of the research team, says that years of emotional and mental stress can lead to heart attacks in vulnerable people. "And it has to do with how people react to different situations."
This means that if people learn to control their emotions in difficult situations, it is good for their health۔
